Let's go back a bit...
So when we were first sitting around deciding how Mango was going to be modelled, it was very easy to keep looking at the competitors and regressing back into a more conventional offering that ultimately left us with no unique selling points. We needed to tackle this from a different direction...
We decided, let's start at the end and work our way back, so we reached out to over 30 business owners through our personal networks and asked them one very simple question:
'If you could wave a wand, what would you like from your accountant?'
The response was both surprising and unsurprising at the same time.
'I would like a firm that becomes an extension of my business, recognises our pains and pressures, knows the goals that we are seeking to achieve, helps us understand our finances and ultimately hand-holds us through our growth to get the results we want'.
Well, that wasn't exactly the reply from any one person, more of an amalgamation of multiple responses, but it seems a pretty fair thing to ask for. That's how Mango Accounting was created.
We are building our business on personal relationships, real understanding of our clients' companies and enabling them to achieve their goals, whatever they may be.
